About this site . . .

In August of '03, a message was posted on a New York web site asking if anyone had memories (for a book) of growing up in Elmhurst, especially grammar school grads from St. Bart's or P.S. 89 in the late 60's thru early 70's.

A few people replied thru '03 and '04, and even early '05. Then, somehow, the word spread and in the later part of '05 the messages went from dozens to well over 2000 in just weeks! (The majority of these were St. Bart's grads, but others as well.)

It became apparent that a dedicated site was needed for those that still kept in touch, and those that longed to renew old friendships. As one of those Bart's felons... I mean alumni, I had the resources to create a special place on the web for this great group, and well - this is it!
